Kilkenny’s Cartoon Saloon, makers of the Oscar-nominated Song of the Sea, have gone from strength to strength and will feature in our IFI Family Festival in July with their TV series, Puffin Rock.

This earlier film tells the story of a Moon Man who uses a passing comet to travel to earth. There he makes friends but also a few enemies, including the President who sees him as a threat to his plans. With some help from a rocket-building scientist and the light of the waning moon, Moon Man manages to escape and make the journey through space back home.
