Escape the festive hustle and bustle with these programmes of exquisitely crafted landscape films from Patrick Carey, one of Ireland’s greatest cinematographers.

PROGRAMME 1: OISÍN
A film made for the Department of Land of Ireland as a contribution to European Conservation Year, this short mesmeric film captures the gentle rhythms of Ireland’s natural beauty. There is no narration, only the sights and sounds of wind and water, birds and beast, against breath-taking imagery.
FILM INFO: 17 minutes, 1970, Colour

PROGRAMME 2: REFLECTIONS-IRELAND
This lyrical, non-narrated film is a celebration of the Irish landscape and its people. From the Cliffs of Moher to Ben Bulben and the wilds of Donegal, the people of Ireland go about their business.
FILM INFO: 17 minutes, 1978, Colour

Two different programmes of films will screen at consecutive lunchtimes throughout December (with double bills on Saturdays).
