TOO OLD FOR ANIMATION? MASTERCLASS, DISCUSSION & SCREENINGS

A day of discussion, screening and practice, in collaboration with Animation Skillnet (11.00 – 15.30).

Are you interested in animation for adults or for children? In collaboration with Animation Skillnet, we are hosting a day at the IFI comprising a masterclass, a panel discussion and a programme of short films around the theme of animation for adults Vs animation for children. Chaired by Dan Spencer, CEO and Producer with the award winning animation studio Giant Animation, the panel will discuss the styles and themes of adult animation and compare with those in popular kids’ animations for film or TV. This will be preceded by a masterclass and followed by a programme of short animations that will include a range of work, along with the Annecy-nominated and César-winning short, Kiki of Montparnasse.
