The publishing sensation of Harper Lee’s Go Set a Watchman in 2015 brought the American writer of To Kill a Mockingbird back to the fore. Critics assessed the new text, in particular the character
of Atticus Finch, the Alabama lawyer who had defended his black neighbour, Tom Robinson, in 1960s Alabama. Atticus had become firmly fixed in the public’s mind as the gentle, wise and, for the time, progressive justice-seeker through Gregory Peck’s unforgettable portrayal in this classic film.

Tickets: €4.25 including regular tea/coffee before the event. Wild Strawberries is our film club for over 55s. If you are lucky enough to look younger please don’t take offence if we ask your age.
