THE QUEEN OF IRELAND + Q&A (IFI SCHOOLS PROGRAMME SCREENING -NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC)

The award-winning documentary about Rory O’Neill, Ireland’s best-known drag queen Panti Bliss, who became a force for equality around which the Yes campaign of 2015 revolved. The film traces the journey of this witty, warm and highly articulate performer through his own recollections and images, and those of family and friends. From growing up in small town Ballinrobe, to recognition as a powerful campaigning voice, Rory’s remarkable story is also the story of a dramatically changed Ireland.
